Marian Rivera is ‘Marimar’
After GMA 7 won the rights to remake the telenovela phenomenon “Marimar”, they’ve conducted an intensive audition on who will play the lead role. Since Asian Treasures is coming to an end, many believed GMA hot property Angel Locsin will play the role of Marimar but a surprising twist came out when the network announced that newcomer Marian Rivera got the role. Rumors has it that Angel Locsin lost the coveted role because she’s acting like a “prima donna†lately according to the crew of Asian Treasures. But that’s another story.
Marimar Philippines also stars Dingdong Dantes as Sergio, Richard Gomez as Sergio’s father, Renato and Mike Tan as Choy.

i can still remember i like watching him in power rangers before..and im glad i’ve seen him in one tree hill..him and brooke really look good together..i really like him..im so surprised that he’s a filipino.it’s really nice to know that=) more power to you Michael.
