MTRCB chair to Joey, Willie: Be professional, mature
By turning their respective variety shows into a noontime telenovela, comedian-hosts Joey de Leon and Willie Revillame are pulling themselves and their respective shows down, said Consoliza Laguardia, chairperson of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Laguardia on Saturday gave a “motherly” advice to the two television hosts. “I’m just appealing to their professionalism and maturity and social responsibility sa audience. Whatever it is may proper venue for that, not on national TV (I’m appealing to their professionalism and maturity and social responsibility. Whatever their beef is, there is a proper venue for that, not on national television).”
Other than that, she said the MTRCB will not interfere between the two and their respective programs, saying the MTRCB deals only with sexual content and violence.
Laguardia met Friday with Revillame but refused to say what they discussed. She said she would meet separately with De Leon.
She admitted she has much respect for De Leon and Revillame, whom she said had shown they can “reform” on TV. But she said both must also think of their followers who emulate them.
“Nagpapasaya naman sila. May sarili silang followers, they should act accordingly. Ginagaya sila ng viewing public … They are pulling themselves down with their shows,” she said in an interview on government-run dzRB radio.

Ang dalawang host na iyan ay bad influence ng kabataan. Dapat palitan na ang dalawang host walang silbi puro yabang magsalita at puro mga bad influence. Si joey mahilig manira at si willie chickboy.
