Anabelle Rama Says Richard Won’t Transfer to ABS-CBN Yet
Not now. Actress and feisty mother of matinee idol Richard Gutierrez said that her son can not yet move to ABS-CBN network.
In an interview, Rama explained that Gutierrez is still bound to do projects for GMA-7 network because of an exclusive contract.
“Hindi muna dahil may kontrata pa,” explains Rama, who is also the manager of Gutierrez.
The “Monster” mom gave her words after expressing her sentiments together with Megastar Sharon Cuneta against the rival network’s move.
The two publicly said via a taped episode of the “Sharon” show that they felt bad when GMA-7 allowed the birthday celebration of their big love team Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes to be held at Araneta Coliseum this coming August 27, Wednesday, the same day for the regular showing of Gutierrez and KC’s first film together titled “For The First Time.”
In the episode, Rama said: “Hindi ako nagagalit. Pero ngayon kasi, parang imposible namang Wednesday, Araneta, Wednesday? Tapos, ano ba iyon? The same date… eh tapos na yung birthday nung dalawa (Dantes and Rivera). Bakit hindi na lang sa 12, 13, 14, 15, 16? Bakit kailangang sa 27?…Magtulungan na lang, di ba?”
Rama who is known for being protective when it comes to her children also said that she’s thankful to Kapamilya network for welcoming Gutierrez as guest artist for its movie outfit Star Cinema.
The actress said that she’s really happy that ABS-CBN gives its full support for the first movie of Gutierrez under Star Cinema.
“Naramdaman ko talaga at nakikita ko talaga ang support ng Star Cinema sa kanya kaya natutuwa talaga ako at nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Star Cinema.”
Rama is the wife of 1960’s matinee idol Eddie Gutierrez.

grabeh namn…ewan ko rin ba sa GMA 7 bakit namn kasi kailanagan sa buwan pa ng august icelebrate ung bday ng dalawa kahit pa august ung bday nila..eh natural namang may movie itong si richard…natual naman magdamdam ung si bisaya..itong si wilma galvante hindi rin naiisip sobrang shallow ung reason na fully booked ung araneta, then why they didn;t choose sept 1 wala rin namn siguro sa fans un…kahit december pa tapos free..hay naku..nakakainis talaga..
